Molotov Jukebox are six musical souls bound together by love; love for each other, love of music and love of making rooms full of people dance till they drop. Fronted by the super-talented accordion player/vocalist/actress Natalia Tena (Harry Potter, About A Boy, Game Of Thrones) the band comprises of Angus Moncrieff (trumpet), Sam Apley (violin), Max Burnett-Wain (drums), Adam Burke (guitar) and Tom Wilson (Bass). Their incendiary live shows are fast earning them legendary status. A whirling dervish of gyp-step funk, sassy-soul and Balkan beats have taken them everywhere from Brazil to Glastonbury and led to a ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ nomination at this years UK Festival Awards alongside the likes of Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Katie B. www.molotov-jukebox.co.uk ALOOSH Online PR 2011 A group of like-minded souls have bound together and tapped into the creative mainframe giving us an all-new musical blueprint. Aloosh are vocalist Jodie Scantlebury, producer/multi instrumentalist Alastair McNeill, bassist Jack Allinson and drummer Joshua Blackmore. Their new single ‘Time’ is out on August 8th and is a total clash of a genres: drawing influence from the worlds of electronica, alternative indie and Jazz it’s very difficult to pin down their extremely original sound. Leyline are covering all the online press for this artist in and around the release of the single. www.facebook.com/Alooshmusic JOANA AND THE WOLF Online & Offline PR 2011 Joana And The Wolf are a London four piece fronted by Lithuanian singer-songwriter Joana Glaza. They create enchanting and hypnotic music, born out of a love of Russian folk and rock. Last year saw the band appear at Lovebox Weekender (London), Waterpop Festival (Holland), Stop Making Sense Festival (Croatia) and a Headline slot at Koko (Club NME, London). But they've already started off 2011 with a confident stride in the form of latest single ‘Hide Me’, a catchy yet striped back affair; it’s a cracking track. Following on from the single, They're on the road this summer at an array of festivals that include Secret Garden Party and Guildfest. www.myspace.com/joanaandthewolf HYPER Online & Offline PR 2011 As a hugely talented producer, remixer, DJ, label boss and composer Hyper has excelled building a loyal and global fanbase as well as commanding huge respect from his peers. Having shot into the consciousness of almost every dance head and aficionado ten years ago with the eponymous Y3K compilation series he has since released two critically acclaimed albums and remixed everyone from Foals to Futureheads, Pink to Paul Van Dyke. Hyper dropped his eagerly anticipated third studio album ‘The Panic’ in April, on his own imprint, Kilowatt. The live band features the stunning vocals of front woman Axe together with Jim Davies (guitar+ vox)and Hyper (keys, decks, vocals). www.myspace.com/hyperuk LEE MORTIMER Online & Offline PR 2010 / 2011 Mortimer is having a superb 18 months, collaborating with Laidback Luke on 'Blau', being signed to A-Trak's Fools Gold, turning many a dance floor upside down and gaining support from the likes of Crookers to Tiesto, DJ Zinc to Judge Jules to name a few! 'Fi Come Dance' will be his next single with Leyline engaged for press around this and his forthcoming compilation album ‘All Night Long’ due for release in April 2011 on Warehouse Records. www.myspace.com/leemortimer VICTORY PILL Online & Offline PR 2010 / 2011 Victory Pill are ex-Prodigy and Pitchshifter guitarist, Jim Davies and producer Pete Crossman. Following on from their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Victory Pill’ their second offering ‘Digital Divide’ brings to the fore their powerful brand of post industrial electronic rock aimed squarely for a generation of danceheads. It's sort of like if Underworld and Nine Inch Nails got it together one particularly boozed filled evening and produced a ceremonious love child, Victory Pill would be the result. ‘Digital Divide’ is a collection of lush songs filled with rich tonal pallets and anthemic choruses. Released in May, it's a joy from start to end and Leyline are pleased to be covering all offline and online press. www.facebook.com/victorypill LOSERS Online & Offline PR 2010 / 2011 Legendary DJ Eddy Temple Morris and ex Cooper Temple Clause Tom Bellamy’s musical dealings in the form of ’Losers’ unleashed their debut album ‘Beautiful Losers’ to widespread critical acclaim (Mixmag’s Album Of The Month’) last year. After the incredible audio/visual feast that was lead single ‘Flush’, with vocals courtesy of Riz MC & Envy and amazing accompanying video (which can be seen here), the boys have been igniting dance floors wherever they’ve played. Leyline are more than chuffed to be working with these hugely talented artists and are already looking forward to a follow up due this year. www.myspace.com/losersuk NAIVE NEW BEATERS National PR 2010 / 2011 Naïve New Beaters are a witty, provocative Paris-based three-piece whose unique take on electro-pop combine rapid-fire rap, compelling beats, and tongue-in-cheek showmanship with a natural unabashed joie de vivre. Leyline have been working with the band on their well received debut album ‘Wallace’ via Kitchenware in October 2010. Their videos are stunning pieces of art direction and well worth checking! The band are currently working on their next album which is due for release this summer 2011. www.myspace.com/naivenewbeaters HEDONIACS Online & Offline PR 2011 Leyline are hugely excited about the prospect of working with Hedoniacs. In our opinion the band is a breath of fresh air, a welcome return to uncompromising and expressive rock 'n’ roll. We believe the current generation of music fans are bored of bands trying to be too clever with a ‘sound of the moment’ and in the process not producing charismatic lead singers able to ‘take it on’. Not so in the case of Lewis, frontman of the Hedoniacs. He has huge stage presence, an arrogance born out of confidence with well crafted songs and a fantastic band to back it up. The potential is huge because the songwriting is so good. Their debut single 'Can't Tie Me Down’ was released April 4th. www.hedoniacs.com GO CAR SHARE Online & Offline PR 2011 The perfect solution for festival season, goCarShare is an environmental, fun and socially-enhancing experience that connects passengers and drivers, helps them to share car journeys, forge friendships and ultimately save money.
