Joana and The Wolf are a London based four-piece fronted by Lithuanian singer-songwriter Joana Glaza. They release their incredible new single ‘Hide Me’ on 03/05/11, beautifully produced by Paris based Jerome Pigeon aka Gringo Da Parada.       Recorded at the renowned Fortress Studios in London, ‘Hide Me’ is a powerful statement of intent. From the start of the track the stripped back riff punctuates the mesmerizing inflection in Joana’s voice. Layered guitars build and sit perfectly over the driving beat whilst clever use of delay and a huge vocal delivery explode into an anthemic finale. On the flip ‘Vagabond Song’ with its folk tinged ethereal vibe shines a different light on the band. The luscious sound-scape strikes a cinematic counterpoint to ‘Hide Me’ whilst giving a nod to Joana’s eastern folk roots. A night with live bands, great DJs, cheap drinks, lots of penny chew and surprises on the night.
